My video posted on Sunday, but now it says it is no longer available. I re-posted it this morning and am also making it available on screencast.com. Just cut clink on the link to view.

Scott,
ReplyDeleteWell Done! Great images and effects. The message was very clear and well organized. I also learned about a couple of sites that I was not familiar with. I like the FIDO trademark!
I also had trouble with blogger saying that the video was not available so I used YouTube to embed it into the post.
blogger has some video issues so it is better that you did it that way... :D
ReplyDeleteSure -- Fiji -- while I'm in Iowa in yet another snowstorm. Your music sure takes me down memory lane. You made good use of some screen shots. I do need to view your video again to absorb it all -- moved faster than me ole' brain.
ReplyDeleteScott,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed our skype session. I think it helps to be able to ask questions and comment in real time while viewing. I really enjoyed your video. The music was a good opening and closing to the video. I also found the graphics to be helpful in the explanation of information. Like we discussed, the timeing of the video was also my biggest problem. I think you handled it very well. I didn't feel like any one part lagged or was rushed through. Good Job!!
Fantastic video, Scott. Without a doubt, I am now very well knowledgeable about synchronous and asynchronous interactions. I loved your visuals and your sound quality was very clear. I was very impressed.
ReplyDeleteGreat use of mind maps to make the concepts easier to understand. I also like your use of music at the beginning and end, make a very strong impression. It is interesting that each of us choose different topics yet, end up talking about different feature of Web 2.0 as a facilitation tools. Thank you for sharing your presentation.
ReplyDeleteScott,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your presentation! While the topic was of interest, I couldn't help but take note of several details which gave the presentation a polished look: your use of screen shots, layering images, using the synchronous vs asynchronous outline to both preview the concepts, but also to return to each segment by highlighting it throughout the presentation. These details gave your presentation a more professional look. Can you share some of the tools you used to create the presentation?
I agree the timing, especially at the beginning needed improvement. Maybe my adding a few more images in your introduction? I wondered if you included our own video taped segments?
All in all, a great presentation! Best of luck in your next classes!
